These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VAANYA Sanctuary website, and your booking or participation in any journey, circle, workshop, retreat, private session, corporate experience, or purchase from our Ritual & Earth Collection (collectively, our "Experiences").

By using our website or booking an Experience with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or book an Experience with VAANYA Sanctuary.

Our related Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your personal information, and forms part of these Terms by reference.

Our Experiences are intended for adults. By booking an Experience, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf. Some Experiences may have their own age or health-related eligibility requirements, which will be communicated at the time of booking.

Journeys, circles, workshops, and private sessions may be booked through our website, by direct inquiry, or through a third-party booking platform. A booking is only confirmed once you receive confirmation from us, whether by email, message, or booking system notification.

We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, combine, or cancel any Experience due to insufficient enrolment, facilitator availability, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Where this happens, we will offer you a suitable alternative date, credit, or refund.

Retreats are multi-day immersive experiences, currently rooted in India and expanding to select destinations abroad. In addition to the general terms in this document, the following applies specifically to retreats:

• Travel to and from the retreat location is the responsibility of the guest, unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of booking;
• We strongly recommend guests obtain their own travel insurance, including coverage for trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and personal belongings;
• Retreat itineraries are a guide and may be adjusted on-site due to weather, local conditions, guest wellbeing, or circumstances beyond our control;
• Guests are responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documentation (passports, visas, vaccinations) required for the destination.

Full or partial payment may be required at the time of booking to secure your place, as specified for each Experience. Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider; VAANYA Sanctuary does not store your full payment card details.

All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to update our prices at any time, though changes will not affect bookings already confirmed.

Because our Experiences involve limited capacity and dedicated preparation, the following general cancellation terms apply unless a specific Experience states otherwise at the time of booking:

If VAANYA Sanctuary cancels an Experience, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to a future date. Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

Many of our Experiences involve physical movement, breathwork, or sensory practices. By participating, you confirm that you are physically and mentally fit to take part, and that you will inform your facilitator of any relevant physical limitation, injury, pregnancy, or health condition prior to the session, so that the practice can be adapted appropriately.

You acknowledge that participation in movement, breathwork, sound, or ritual-based practices carries an inherent degree of physical and emotional risk, and that you voluntarily assume that risk. If you have a pre-existing medical or mental health condition, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified healthcare professional before participating.

If you are currently under the care of a healthcare provider, please consult them before beginning any new physical, breathwork, or wellness practice.

Items from our Ritual & Earth Collection — including crystals, ritual tools, and naturally derived elements such as herbs and botanicals — are sold for personal, ceremonial, and everyday use as part of a conscious lifestyle. These items are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and any traditional or cultural use referenced on our website or packaging is provided for informational and cultural context only.

Please review any included usage guidance carefully, and consult a healthcare professional before consuming any herbal or botanical product, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a health condition, or taking medication.

We ask every guest to help protect the calm, respectful atmosphere of our sessions, circles, and retreats. VAANYA Sanctuary reserves the right to refuse entry, remove a guest without refund, or decline future bookings where a guest's conduct is disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful toward facilitators or other guests, or under the influence of alcohol or substances in a way that compromises safety.

All content on this website — including text, brand names, logos, photography, session materials, and design — is the property of VAANYA Sanctuary or its licensors, and is protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission.

If you share photos, videos, testimonials, or other content mentioning VAANYA Sanctuary on social media or elsewhere, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to repost or reference that content (with credit where possible) in our own marketing, unless you notify us otherwise.

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, this site by anyone else. We do not guarantee that our website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and we accept no liability for any resulting loss or damage.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, VAANYA Sanctuary, its founders, facilitators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or participation in an Experience. Our total liability for any claim arising from a booked Experience shall not exceed the amount you paid for that specific Experience.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our proven negligence.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VAANYA Sanctuary, its founders, employees, facilitators, and partners from any claim, loss, or damage — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our website, or your participation in an Experience.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of our Experiences shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Dubai, UAE, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Experiences, legal requirements, or business practices. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or booking of an Experience after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
